About SyncStock
SyncStock is a Shopify app made by BlanketByte. It keeps the stock of bundles, multipacks and other listings that share the same physical item in sync. This policy explains what data the app handles when a merchant installs it.
What we collect
When you install SyncStock, Shopify gives the app access to your store. We store:
- Your store’s myshopify.com address and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
- The products, variants and inventory items you add to link groups: their IDs, titles, SKUs and the units-per-sale numbers you set.
- Stock levels of those items per location, so the app can tell what changed.
- A log of the stock changes SyncStock made, and a monthly count used for plan limits.
- Which SyncStock plan your store is on, as reported by Shopify.
SyncStock does not read or store customer information, orders, addresses or payment details. Its Shopify permissions are limited to products, inventory and locations.
How we use it
Only to run the app: to update linked listings when stock changes, to show you your groups and activity, and to apply your plan’s limits. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the services below.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on servers operated by BlanketByte for SyncStock. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify; SyncStock never sees payment information.
How long we keep it
While the app is installed. When you uninstall SyncStock, Shopify asks us 48 hours later to delete your store’s data, and we delete all of it: link groups, stock levels, logs and access tokens. Reinstalling within those 48 hours keeps your link groups.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about your store, or ask us to delete it, at any time by contacting syncstock@blanketbyte.com. Requests Shopify sends on behalf of your customers are answered automatically: SyncStock holds no customer data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and note significant changes in the app.
